umm what's the point of censoring words automatically with *'s if the mods just change the title of the thread anyways?

There's a difference between swearing in a reply and cluttering up the thread list with obscenities. But anyway, I wait with baited breath for someone to disagree with me.

Actually, she was elected because NY Republicans ran a nobody (Ric Lazio) against her, and yet she still only pulled 55% of NYS, a state that canvasses as 70% democratic!

Her first public statement after election: I intend to get Democrats elected to all NYS postions.
She also announced fund rasiers for this endeavor.

During the 9/11 crisis, she and the senior NY Senator, Chuck Shumer were barely seen, and only in Washington, NY Mayor Rudolph Gullianni and NYS Governer George Pataki were seen several times dailey in the disaster zone.

2 weeks ago, after the plane crash, she had the audacity to try and change US emegration laws to allow ILLEAGAL immigrants to fly to Santo Domingo and than RETURN!
A US senator acttivly avdvicated breaking federal law, in order to pander to the Hispanic voter block in NY, a very large block.
totally ignoring all the people waiting to enter the USA leagally, she tried to gain an edge by breaking the law because it suited her politcally.

          Typical behaviour from the Clintons.

It's a shame the 2 party system stranges our country, I voted for neither her nor the republican clown, but for someone who addressed issues I cared about, but he was buried, just like 99% of third party candidates.

During the 9/11 crisis, she and the senior NY Senator, Chuck Shumer were barely seen in Washington doing their jobs but were instead pretending to care in the disaster zone.

2 weeks ago, after the plane crash, she had the audacity to oppose a change in US emegration laws that allow immigrants to fly to Santo Domingo and thn return. A US senator ignoring the needs of the Hispanic community!
No offense Chris, I really respect you, but it seems like some here could care less what she actually does- they just want to slam her. I very much doubt you are in that category, but your quote was handy.

The rest of you who clearly are foaming at the mouth: I don't know whether to laugh at or pity you. There are a few political figures I hate (Jerry Falwell), but none with the vehemence directed at the Clintons. Bizzare.

              It's not a problem, nc.

I posted that with trepidation, seeing what had come before it, and whom had posted it.

When Hill was elected, I sincerly hoped she would put aside her past partisan politics and work for the good of my state, and she has again failed to do this.

The booing the other posters speak of is a physical manisfation of this, because she can't fool the people whom she represents so easily anymore. They know what her actions have been in the last 3+ months, and there is also a growing perception that Democrats (ether real or imagined) have been blocking releif funding to NY.

                she never holds press conferences...

she looks like absolute crap the past 2 month. Big bags under her eyes and wrinkley dresses (I wonder if shes not losin sleep over Bill ).

Pardon my naivety, but what did she actally do to p*ss these people off? Not one post in this thread has given a concrete example of her alleged evilness - except maybe Chris62, but I couldn't get myself worked up about any of that.

This seems like the herd mentality to me

                      Iain,

I don't have that much experience with BBC News, but I have seen ALOT of BBC News Online, and in my opinion it's just as biased as any other source.

The statute of neutrality isn't exclusive to British journalists, by the way.

                      About Hillary,

She deserves everything she is getting.

I actually feel sorry for that woman. You can tell on her face the price she has paid to get to where she is. And she must feel so empty inside.

Even though Mr. Clinton is a dumbass, I thought it was pretty crass of her to enter the national memorial service (the one immediately after the attack) separately, and not with her family. That was NO TIME to be making a damn statement.

She's shown herself time and time again to be a poor leader and a complete phony.

Maybe not, but which one would you trust:

                              1) A group who adheres to standards because they WANT to

                              or

                              2) A group that adheres to standards because it is required BY LAW

What about those British tabloids? Does the law apply to them as well?

And how are those standards enforced by the government?

Does their version of what constittues "neutrality" differ from most journalists?
