You may not be familiar with a) cold weather, or, b) dressing appropriately at solemn occasions, but I am. Rest assured that there is very warm clothing available which is suitable for outdoor formal occasions such as memorial services, etc. (Much like that worn by the representatives of other governments in the photo.) Here's my attempt at a threadjacking (and troll), this seems to be an interesting case example to analyze the liberal mind.
The liberal is upset because the VP of the USA dressed for comfort when he should have dressed for discomfort.
Why? Apparently he failed to show his compassion and sympathy. I wonder, did all the other people dress for discomfort? We must suffer because of past suffering?

I still don't think Cheney did anything wrong.
One of the bad things Bush has done is abolish Clinton's business casual at the White House and reintroduce a regressive shirt-and-tie policy. Cheney is going against that flow.
