I'm old enough to have been to a few funerals (two last year) and unless there was an express request by the estate for all the guests to dress up in day-glo hawai'ian shirts I wouldn't dream of going to a funeral dressed in anything other than black.

To me this isn't about the fact that D1ck did it - it is the fact that it shows a lack of respect. Plain and simple. No other reason.

I wore jeans at my grandfather's funeral. Does that count?
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

      • I don't think it was disrespectful. It's not like he turned up naked save for Swastika on an armband.

Cheney was going to do that originally, then someone told him they had heard Prince Harry had that same idea so Cheney then made other fashion plans..

Again: That would have been outrageous. What Cheney did was disrespectful.
