Solomwi, No. It would be the same.. I mean had we been in our old borders digging in which would have been a weird decision but let's assume we would have been in there. Now the SU troops would be concentrating (the ones assigned against us) in the Karealian isthmus. Supposedly the support lines go in that area now. Those lines are used now in the war against us. What can we do? We can go there and cut them, which our long distance patrols would do all the time. They wouldn't be able for 100% success rate but assume pretty high anyway.

Would we be starving Leningrad now, now physically and intentionally priority number one being cutting the support lines? Or would that be a separate thing between us now, being inside our old borders literally? I'm not talking about what's right or wrong. I'm talking about cause and effect, and how some people feel they are putting 1 and 1 together like little kids.

What if we would have been pushed further back inside our own lands, and SU had established big support lines there, and more or less lose the rest in those areas because of.. some reason. now, if we would push back and naturally destroy those lines, would we starve Leningrad?

Pekka, one more time, I think you did the right thing for yourselves. I'm not arguing that you should have let those supply lines go unmolested. Finnish troops had a duty to Finland to cut them. That's irrelevant to what Che was saying.

You have so many false premises, that your interpretations are just .. interpretations. You have nto shown any kind of ability to really know this subject at all.

Your claim to question the ability to cut the 'road of life' is laughable and shows your level of eduaction on this matter. DO you realize, once again, the front was fairly inactive for the longest times, and we had troop concentrations in there. Yes, we could have used most of our resources just to cut it. And past, every battle, shows we would have been unstoppable. There were many things we could have done. in summer too. We could have bombed the lines and take partial air superiority at will, like we did throughout the wars. Ohh the glorious AA, but they didn't do any damage to us throughout the wars, where as our aces took what they wanted, just a matter of doing it. Do you realize that they would have dominated any battle in that region no problem? Winter time, you even suggest they could have kept it alive, had we launched one operation during the inactivity of all fronts? Your whole theory of it is just showing your inability to know the reality of the situation. Ahh but so many Germans down there too, why didn't they cut it. Again, you don't know anything about any kind of military subject unless you can see picture behind statistics. How do you suggest they would have done it, cutting in front of us, and those extra men would have been pulled there from.. where? AS I recall, they had their hands full without that. Yet alone keep the lines down, it's not like they can bomb it and leave. They would have needed to stay and bomb it all the time.

THe fact that we didn't take it out, and it would have been one of the easier missions during the wars which Che fails to recognize, making him show his true colours of not knowing what he's talking about at all, suggests that we didn't starve Leningrad. HAD we cut that line, THEN we woudl have starved Leningrad.

'Ohh but that was just one puny line'. It was called the road of LIFE. Do you comprehend? Our Nazi loving leaders refused to coperate with Hitler on this matter. Oh but that doesn't matter, because you cut some other lines. Other lines meant to support the war against us, it wasn't a part of Leningrad siege. And I've said before, you can build a maze where that leads to starving Leningrad, but if you do that, then everybody is responsible for everything that happens in the world. And as it is, you naturally don't put any responsiblity on Stalin. Or just partial responsibility. How's that for being apologist then?

You're the kind of educated person who would seriously claim baltic states and many other former SU satellite states benefited from being part of the SU. You know, good trades and all that, good employment situation. Let's ask how they feel about it! Survey says... you're full of ****.

Well show me your great education then and refute any of these facts. Just show some kind of ability to actually.. know abgout this subject, in any level outside your own poor interpretations of 'omg look at the map' which basically was correct map, and you interpreted it wrong already once.

I find it amazing that you are in there, comfortably sitting and giving out responsibility tickets to everyone, and you don't give the only two cards there is to Hitler and Stalin. YOu just give them away like candy. Not knowing mostly what you're even talking about, having your facts screwed up, not reading about the subject once it's been exposed. If you don't start with facts and just keep on what you're on about, you're just trolling. And being a Stalin apologists. I wonder why they erect Stalin statue. Why not Hitler statue as well in the middle of Leningrad. They can then stare at each other and we can debate which one of them should be taken down first.

PS, I'm sure many factories existed in Leningrad or near it, that supplied the war against us throughout the war. Leningrad starved us and the citizens of it were directly responsible for murdering our civilians. That's about the same as your claims and makes about the same amount of sense.

And no, because it IS a matter of interpretation. You can interpret it like that. But you claim many facts to be irrelevant. How is not cutting the road of life irrelevant? I think it is VERY relevant. Had not acted is exactly what we did you see. Had we acted, there wouldn't be much room for interpretations.
