    Imran is right.

Yeah, because games against a totally different team are relevant!! Tell me, did they have Vick at QB in 2003? Nope. Did they play them in 02? Nope.

You think star players are every thing. The Rams had lots of talented players that weren't the stars on that team. Mike Jones for example, who made the game winning play in the Superbowl against Tennessee. Talent has to be measure on the whole team, not by just its starters.

Vick makes a difference, but not that much of a difference.

          • Oh, and I read that Martz is using a defensing back to simulate Vick in practice, so he is adjusting to the Falcons. Vick won't have such a great game. So if you think Vick is the only decent player on the Falcons you have to admit that they are going to lose.

Wow... so they lost a few players. Star players are what determines if a team is a totally new team or the same. The entire offense skill positions were exactly the same. It may have been better with Candidate as the backup RB.

Vick makes a difference, but not that much of a difference.
Um... yes he does. Do I need to tell you the record with Vick (22-11-1) and without Vick (2-10) in the last 3 years again?

So, Atlanta is a better team than you give them credit for?

                ACK!

No defensive back can adequately simulate Vick. Not even close!

Point is that Martz is doing something specific. He doesn't just do the same thing every week.

Oh, and a key match up is Crumpler vs. Archuleta. I predict Archuleta gets at least one interception.

                    • We'll see... but the Rams won't be stopping Vick. And what they do on Defense has nothing to do with them not doing the same thing every week .

Though if you are so confident, how about a signature wager on the game?

Who was the QB who played against the Rams the time they played them before this year? I bet he didn't suck as bad as Vick's back ups.

I'm not that confident. I'm just saying that you are too confident. I give the Rams a 35% chance of victory.

That's fair. I actually just like to rile up the anti-Atlanta, anti-Vick people . I'll be generous and say the Rams probably have a 40% of winning (of course that is when the Vick haters come out and say he's sooo overrated even though its basically a one man team).

Chris "I had one good year" Chandler.

You have him as your backup, you should know how good he is .

So what? Do you really remember the Falcons last year? Without him, they lost 5 games by a single score. The defense was absolutely horrible. He came back and won a game that ended with his defense returning an INT in OT after he put up a wonderful 14 ponits. We heard all week about how he won that game. Then he was completely embarassed by the Colts defense. Then they beat Tampa by 2 points after Brad Johnson threw 4 INTs. Then they beat the Jags by a single score in which both QBs played very average. Once he came back, he completed less than half his passes, was sacked more than any other Falcon QB (on average), and turned the ball over more than he scored. The difference? His defense made plays and they pulled out the close wins.
