Wow, Seattle were huge pretenders. The teams they beat had an average record of 6-10, and the average team they faced was 7-9... Any team can win those games.

There is one thing about Brent Farve in clutch games recently -- he is guaranteed to throw a lot of interceptions. When they won the Superbowl with Farve, Green Bay had the best defense in football and Brent didn't have to win the game all by himself. Now he presses and simply gives the games away. Perhaps his ego is too big today to control his wildness. But unless he gets it under control, the Pack has no future with Farve at QB. It is time for the Pack to move on, IMHO.http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en

Favre is totally on the ledge. After the game, he reportedly told Mike Sherman he was retiring, with Sherman spending a half-hour talking him down, telling him not to make any announcement until he had cooled off.
So Brett is going home to Mississippi for a couple weeks before saying anything. But it does look like it could happen this time...Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

It looked like the receivers screwed up on those interceptions, but you have to wonder whether in previous years Favre would have recognized their changed routes (improvisations) and thrown to the new spot? On the other hand, maybe the receivers just ****ed-up and Favre needs to recognize that. IMO he's still a dangerous quarterback to be facing in the 4th quarter. We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

Westbrook/McNAbb/TightEnds have huge games in an Eagles blowout. I dont expect anything big from Eagles receiving corps, though..

I think it's more likely than not that the Falcons will overlook the Rams, because they lack big game experience.
You mean like Carolina overlooked teams because of a lack of big game experience last year?

And the defense being so horrible, I feel that Favre feels like he has to win games by himself, thus forcing a lot of balls... though he's always been known for forcing passes where he shouldn't. However, in his MVP years, they found the target a lot more.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. Btw, in the least suprising news of the year, Peyton Manning wins the MVP award, with 47 out of 48 votes.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
