You have to look at world history from the UR perspective to understand such ridiculous statements. China didn't get the **** kicked out of it by the Europeans until the 1800's, so before that point (after which even UR can no longer deny European superiority to China) China was obviously the greatest country on Earth and all those European powers who had been exploring and conquering the world for centuries were just a backwater that should have been paying tribute to the Middle Kingdom. Completely laughable, but logical in its own sick fashion...
