I assume you have not taken Organic Chem, or have stayed away from the Social Sciences department?

[Q Classic]

ochem is for lüzers, and besides, i came to the uni with enough creds to not ever have to take any science classes unless i wanted to concentrate in them.

I predict this thread will hit 500 before the polls open tomorrow, and we'll have to SHUT it down.

Especially if people continue to spam it

So let's keep this thread for the election only

i still hope that a third party will be able to capture 5% of the vote.

I mostly just watch cartoon network and comedy central, so I've mostly avoided the ramifications of living in Ohio while watching tv (I've yet to see one of the swift-boat ads). Unfortunately, my morning and evening commutes are now filled with obnoxious radio ads, though it's somewhat amusing to have political rants interpersed with Pink Floyd.

Are you voting for Ed or Number 1? I might consider Plank.

[Imran Siddiqui]

i hope enough people vote third party for 5% of the popular vote...

I doubt it. I don't think any will get more than 1%.. though Badnarik may have a chance and if he helps Bush lose will gain his party a LOT of media attention that they never get usually.

It hasn't stopped the Greens from being ignored. Why would the Libs suddenly get noticed?

[Thucydides]

hmm, Nader's causing Gore to lose forced the democrats to lean more to the left this presidential election. I wonder if the libertarians forcing the Republicans to lose will force the Republicans away from the religious right. They might actually be forced to run as fiscal conservatives instead of tax cut and spend.

How about topping this thread?
God damn election, it's distracting me from work

[chequita guevara]

Maybe the mods could top this for the next two days.

But not Nader. It isn't like Nader ran like a traditional Green. Think about how much press Nader has gotten in the last cycle.

I'm voting Ed, since I'm operating on the assumption that Grim's going to off him before Ed can ever take office.

I was talking to RINO (Republican-In-Name-Only) Presidential candidate John Buchanan the other day and he said that Badnarik might get as much as a million votes.
