Interesting fact:
The Celtics won their first championship against St. Louis (1957), the Bruins broke a 29 year Stanley Cup drought against St. Louis (1970), the Patriots won their first Superbowl over St. Louis (2002), AND NOW, the Red Sox broke an 86 year drought over St. Louis.
Boston loves playing those St. Loo teams.

Congratulations to the Red Sox. I hope there isn't too much mayhem up in Beantown.
My fiancee was oddly indifferent about the outcome. She kept saying "I should be happy, but I don't really care."
She's never been a hardcore fan, though, so she's probably the exception.

more facts - the last time the Red Sox one the series, in 1918, theyd never lost a series.
They clinched the 1918 series, with a win by Ruth, on September 11th of that year.
