For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Did anyone see one of them "This Modern World"s about the CBS fiasco? I'm reminded of it by Monk's quote:
What really annoys me is that the major news organiztions looks down on the news sites and bloggers because they aren't as objective, and point to their own steller records for proof.

Yeah, how about that liberal media?
From the LA Times:
NEW YORK — The conservative-leaning Sinclair Broadcast Group, whose television outlets reach nearly a quarter of the nation's homes with TV, is ordering its stations to preempt regular programming just days before the Nov. 2 election to air a film that attacks Sen. John F. Kerry's activism against the Vietnam War, network and station executives familiarwith the plan said Friday.
Sinclair's programming plan, communicated to executives in recent days and coming in the thick of a close and intense presidential race, is highly unusual even in a political season that has been marked by media controversies.Tutto nel mondo è burla

That's not something central to the debate for one--is that really going to change anyone's mind if he used $120 billion instead?
You guys are pathetic.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Can anyone point to us and demonstrate some distortion of equal magnitude? Heck, can anyone point out Kerry distorting Bush's position with any significant magnitude?

That guy was the most despised leader the US Army ever had to my knowledge, they were throwing parties on the Army bases when he got "sacked". Man, he was a moron.Last edited by GhengisFarb™; October 9, 2004, 12:55.

Point was he was never "sacked", he announced his retirement 10 months prior to his so-called call for several hundred thousand troops."Just puttin on the foil" - Jeff Hanson
