Damn. ND v. Navy. 3rd Quarter. 1:10 left. Only 2 drives so far this quarter.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Georgia is beating up on Vandy, so chill“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

More unbeatens fall this week...
Navy
Louisville
Southern Miss
Arizona State
Purdue
have all already lost.
Oklahoma State and Virginia are in the process of getting their hides tanned. Boise State is in a dog fight, and Utah has yet to kickoff their game.
So we've got
USC
Oklahoma
Miami
Auburn
Wisconsin
still unbeaten, with maybe Utah and Boise State as well. Virginia and OkSt will need a miracle.

Of the unbeaten BCS 5, it is #1 USC that has the easiest schedule from here on in (and the easiest one to date, natch). No particularly daunting games.
Oklahoma has the Big 12 championship. And OkSt always plays them tough.
Miami has Virginia, plus their old rivalry with VaTech.
Auburn has Georgia and the SEC championship.
Wisconsin has a tough game at Iowa.
This could be one of those years where there are no unbeaten BCS teams, as USC has looked vulnerable..."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

Which means, we'll have to start looking at some of the teams that already have one loss on their record as potential contenders as well. I think that list could probably be limited to:
the winner of Michigan-Purdue
Florida State
Texas
Georgia
Cal

Damn It looks like I'll be rooting for Wisconsin now. I was rooting for Purdue, I thought they were the best chance for the Big Ten (I also hate OSU, Mich, and MSU)
I'm actually a Penn State fanbut it looks like Joe Pa has cooked up another losing season. PSU did have a pretty good week though
God we suck.
Go Badgers. I think Minnesota will be tougher than Iowa.Accidently left my signature in this post.

Just back from Auburn, and YES! NO MORE MATT JONES! I'd be lying if I said this game didn't scare me going in. Right now, Ole Miss is looking like a team that could bite us, but only if we help them. Looking forward to Nov. 13, JohnT. That should be a hell of a game.
Auburn's clicking right now in just about every way possible, and has been since Tennessee. I just hope we keep it up.
