ok, doing google, i see one joke that seems to make everyone think the whole damn movie is anti-american.
    an exchange between two sharks:
    "Humans! Think they own everything."
    "Probably American."

    ===

is that really anti-americanism? i mean, seriously? it's a one-liner that is a throwaway joke.

Actually, she was a play on the goldfish only having 15 second memories.

I don't think Ned sees the same anything as most of us do.

Are you sure Ned didn't mean Dori? I think she fits the "spaced out, drugged-addled hippie" profile better.

the only thing Dori fits with is the spaced-out thing... there's no suggestion that she's drug-addled or a hippie...

Oh, and she was voiced by a lesbian. More fuel for the far right hate-mongers.

Q3 - that's the joke! Only one in the whole movie that even comes close to "anti-American".

let's not forget that Nemo is obviously a tip of the hat to Jules Verne, who was French, and therefore anti-American...

Maybe this ... http://www.laughingplace.com/News-ID10000670.asp ... is the horse movie?

Actually, it might also be that Hidalgo movie with the guy who played Aragorn in it. That was a Disney Pictures film. I don't think that had anything to do with Native Americans, but why should that stand in the way of Ned's disapproval?
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

did some more googling, i think ned is referring to animated horse movies... and the only recent one i can find isn't even disney's at all, it's dreamworks skg... spirit: stallion of the cimarron (what a mouthful...)

so now that both movies in question are not disney movies...

                                how is disney anti-american?
                                how is finding nemo/pixar anti-american?

and i don't know what this horse movie is about, but how is that anti-american for portraying native americans as the oppressed?
