Why do you guys hate on diamonds so much? It's all a women wide conspiracy. It's because of them that diamonds cost so much, but if we destroyed all the diamonds they would just ask for something else, and that would probably be more expensive.

Actually, artificial Diamonds can already be produced. those are just as good as the "natural" ones. So, my guess is that the diamond's industry's days are numbered, really.
