        I could.

But AFAIK, I never boycotted products based on what person they're associated with. I do boycott products based on what country they're associated with, and I think it is a healthy practice.

                to them

Now, the evil Bordeaux wineries, who made too much money while selling crap, are whining they can't get the same outrageous profits as before

Kind of like the Saudis already asking for foreign aid, for when clean fuels will replace oil

I don't boycott one country as a whole.

I only boycott highly symbolic American products, i.e. those that turn their belonging to America as something to be proud of, as a commercial argument. All products from Coca Cola Company (and all products looking like Coca Cola itself*), all Pepsi products, MacDonalds and similar fast foods*, and blue jeans. I boycott Mars company for another reason, I don't want to directly give money to a weapon maker.

That's about it, there was a time I was much more hardcore, as I boycotted all American movies as well.

*regardless of nationality: people can't understand why I don't drink Mecca Cola or Zamzam Cola either.

There is actually one good reason to buy Wketchup. If I lived in the US I might consider it if it wasn't for the incredibly tacky label. From their FAQ:

What percent of W Ketchup is made in America?
                    100%. Every ingredient is American.

100% American? What about your bottles?
Yes, every bottle is made in America, every label is printed in America, and every step of the manufacturing process takes place in America.

Mars, the chocolate company, makes weapons? I didn't know that.

Mars is a holding. It makes pet food, it makes weapons, it makes dozens of other things, even though chocolate is their most famous product.

I didn't know this, either. Do you have any links or resources with more information about that?

If you truelly boycotted every company involved in weapons manufacturing you would live in a grass hut wearing a loin cloth. If you include Mars, then you are overlooking alot of others at that same level of committment.

To include every major French food distributor, who are prime vendors to the US Navy
