      Yeah I know.. I chose this particular picture because it had the sash, and because the man is Swedish. Not to distract, but to hopefully give clue, since Sweden didn't do war and this man wasn't mercenary, I hoped that would have given some ideas that this is something weird, and the sash thing would open up the mystery.
      But I admit, it was maybe too impossible to solve.

        shouldnt be too hard... just guess what nationality they are and where in the world they are and what war it is...

                        it's a Wehrmacht soldier... heavy infantry (the type that carried Sturmgewher 44's). what else do you want to know?

                          Apologize, should have specified. I am looking for the battle. Like I said, besides the fame of the picture, only the uniform and equipent could give you a hint of the time frame.
