                  Lee was an idiot who was buoyed by his subordinates. The Army of the Potomac was unfortunate to have a run of stupid commanding Generals. (But there were competant ones, like Hanc0ck, Sedgiwick, Chamberlain, Meade, etc. all over the place in the AotP)

                  As for Grant, Grant was a Tee-totaler during the war.
