Well, the deadline for new nominees for President of Liberty Isle passed about one hour ago, thus, the two candidates up for consideration are

Flubber

and

Velociryx

Neither candidate was seconded, but for the sake of moving forward, and since there are only two candidates (and thus, ditching either for lack of a second would result in a defacto victory), we shall skip that part of parlimentary procedure and proceed to voting (note to the reds watching - yeah, I know, and if we weren't doing this in a VIRTUAL environment, this whole process woulda taken five seconds, so stow it... )

Polls will close at 8pm, EST, at which time, votes will be tallied and a winner declared.

Then, Liberty shall have her first President.

Well, thus the need to hurry up and get a government in place....we do that, and then we can begin making ties and connections with ....well, the only other power out there, actually.

However, I would point out that by virtue of the fact that Kid let us leave and establish ourselves ON this island is tacit acceptance.
