60 years of building alliances thrown out the window by a cowboy who went into a country that wasn't a threat to us. Now the only ones who went with us of any importance (UK, Spain, Italy...oh, look at that, Europeans) are really rethinking jumping on the bandwagon.

Because Bush angered all of these nations makes him an ARROGANT president, not a GOOD president.

Let's be particular. By alliances you mean France and Germany. France hasn't been a true ally since de Gaulle. Germany was anti-American and anti-Bush before Iraq. Think back to the Bush-bashing that took place in the last major German elections.

He's trumpeting it because the ENTIRE reason he went to Vietnam was to film and build up for his future political career and run for the Presidency. He didn't go to Vietnam to serve his country, he went to Vietnam so he could pad his political resume.
