  • Q, Almost all families below $40K have no income tax liability...hard to cut what they are paying.

all i'm saying is that bush should not then go out and say he has cut taxes for the families with children in order to help them out.

why? because those that needed the help most didn't get a hand, they got a poke in the eye. it didn't help that although bush was willing to extend the cuts to them, it was a ****ing deal he made with congressmen to cut them out of the help.

it's not fair to say that the left is completely impotent when it's more accurate to say that nobody in washington has any potency without their viagra prescriptions--which, mind you, are probably paid for by their health insurance, while many women are lacking coverage for their birth control.

Where was this when Billy boy was accused of draft dodging. All I heard from the left when this issue came up was it doesn't matter or the war was wrong anyway, or any number of reasons saying that his actions all those years ago was not important to his becomming president. Now that their current boy is running for president, all of a sudden service in Vietnam is all the issue.

Neither side gives a damn about those that never came back. One side is whoring their service to get elected and the other side is doing whatever they can to find fault in it. Disgusting from both parties and those here that fall for it and defend either one aren't much better..

I just find it disgusting that after so many years, service in Vietnam is now such a hot ticket for the left. Why wasn't it so important in the 90's?

          • Service in Vietnam is not the issue. Being a traitor is.

It's only important because he's one of the extremely very few the Democrats have who have ever come close to having any military experience.

              Other than draft dodging.

Who's the traitor? The guy who uses daddy's influence to stay home instead of going to war, right?

No, Ned thinks killing people in Indochina was okay, so long as you didn't go there, do it, and then exhibited remorse.

                  THEN, you were a traitor.

All Bushbaby killed was a few litres of alcohol by all accounts.

Well, except his accounts, which change more regularly than his boxers.

The last time I checked having a controversial opinion, expressing opposition to your government's policy and/or trying to expose what you regard as wrongdoing was not treason in a democracy.

I know some conservatives think it is - for reasons they never seem able to explain.
