You could try and give sarcasm a go?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Erm, you missed the entire point of that little conversation, dear. Par for the course...

No, he was saying that there exist, within every group, stupid people, and thus the bill was passed with a large portion of Democratic support. So what he said was the very antithesis of claiming the Democrats were a monolithic group.

The only good news from this election is that with the defeat of the incompetent incumbant governor in the primary, Kerry is much more likely to carry the state.

that and my two relatives won their respective primaries

We have to give some people some slack for naivity.

                Another Triumph of Democracy...

Yeah, dictators wouldn't even allow gays
In a democracy, you just get more dictators.

To quote The Patriot, "why should I trade 1 tyrant 3,000 miles away for 3,000 tyrants 1 mile away?"

But the irony gets even richer, most homosexuals apparently are Democrats.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I think they have just as much right to call themselves Christian, as you do.
And others have the right to call them phony, so the question becomes: are they living up to the teachings of their God? We've gone through that already and the anwser is a resounding NO! So who is right? The "Christian" who continually violates the principles of Christianity or the person who sees these violations? Remember, even Jesus said there will be many who come to him on judgement day saying, "Lord, Lord, look at what we have done in your name"... And Jesus will say, "I never knew you"...

Jesus is condemning "Christians", the wolves in sheep's clothing...

Actually, I thought it was a royalist who was governor of New Jersey, who said, "They call me a brainless Tory. But tell me which is better -- to be ruled by one tyrant about 3,000 miles away, or to be ruled by 3,000 tyrants about a mile away?"

                      forgot his name

                          Me?

Marriage is between a man and a woman.

Now you homophiles need to state what rules you would have governing who can and who can't get married. Is it for only two people? Or as many as you want, etc?

No rules other than age of consent and even then there can be exceptions, i.e., a minor with parent's permission.
Don't matter to me who or how many you marry, it's called freedom of association. If you find 3 women who want to marry you and the feeling is mutual, good for you and them... It's your life, you decide for yourself...

Why is this complicated for you? Why can't marriage have the same rules as now, except that you allow gays to marry each other? Is it really that hard to grasp?
