I guess that's good considering the ONLY people who are relavent are Americans as its their country and their taxes.
My point was: there's no need to single France out as supportive of Kerry, given that about 94% of the world supports Kerry anyway

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

I won't let you ruin my joke's good name by surrounding it with that...dry..."joke".
Way too late my friend

Wow, Kerry's cousin still has a political function? (mayor of a 2000 inhab town). I didn't know that. The guy has indeed lost pretty much every clout he could have during the 90's: he created a right-wing ecological party, and sank with it.

DanS your old avatar was better
I really like this one. Very that artistic stock certificate feel.
Anyway, it can't be helped now. I don't think I have a copy of my old avatar.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
Oh well, maybe sometime in the future I will bring back Ben in the full. Change my sig to "Fear the Franklin" or something.

The key thing here isn't nessecarily that these numbers are great right now, but rather the Kerry camapign threw a bunch of money down the hole and failed to get a needed convention bounce.
Conventions nowadays are big circle jerks for the party hacks. The last real conventions in terms of meaningful impact were the Republicans in '76 and the Dems in '80.
Bush has been spending a lot too, and I think this will really come down to just a few last minute undecided voters in two or three states that will shift the balance. The spending doesn't matter much until you get to prime election season. That's why I can't understand how in hell Bush's campaign has spent so much, unless they have prepaid a lot of air time and production costs for their ad campaigns.
