I never said I was against abortions.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

You didn't answer my question.... I am not a pro-life zealot. I am just not a pro-choice one, as well.

This is not an easy case, like some of you people want to portray it. If it have been, I would reach a decision on this ages ago.

Pro-choicers are always trying to say they are against abortions, but think they shouldn't be illegal. Well I've seen plenty of things like this where people praise abortions.

you do realize that there are some pro-choicers who oppose abortion but don't think they should be illegal, right? that people who praise abortions don't exactly represent all pro-choice people?

much as how people who are pro-life aren't necessarily murderers or anti-choice...

It doesn't always work. And should you have trouble finding one (living in an area where there are few open drug dealers, for example), each hour you spend looking for one is less and less probability that it works.

Besides, there are other reasons than rape, condoms that break, etc. for abortions. Especially for teen abortions, where the pregnant girl may be surprised by her pregnancy, or may believe for several weeks that her boyfriend will stay with her. This last reason also happens often with adults, as the man leaves on discovering the unwanted pregnancy.

You do realize that Planned Parenthood is one of the biggest (possibly the biggest) pro-choice organizations out there? So the people making these t-shirts are not a small radical fringe, like the what, 2 people who have shot an abortion doctor, but instead part of the mainstream abortion movement.

So quite literally these people who praise abortions (planned parenthood with this t-shirt) really do represent many pro-choice people.

What makes you think that shirt is an official Planned Parenthood shirt? I don't see their name on it. I also don't see a source. So it's wrong, and completely ignorant, to think this shirt represents the opinions of all pro-choice people.

And no offense, but considering you aren't pro-choice, I assume your family is probably not pro-choice... that being said, how can you claim to know how many pro-choice people feel? My circle of friends, my family, and most of the other people I know in my life are pro-choice and they certainly don't feel the way you are characterizing pro-choice people.

i've never met a single pro-choice person who praises abortions. every single one i've met, at worst, doesn't think about the baby at all, but isn't elated about the fact that abortions have to be done in the first place.

Spiffor: That is strange. Perhaps it's more a unity thing... I would like to think most pro-choice advocates hold the same position as myself... as they are more a necessary "evil".

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I don't suppose frothing-anti-choicers will.

both sides would like to spin themselves as pro-something.

pro-choice could be spun as anti-life.
pro-life could be spun as anti-choice.

now, pro-life and pro-choice just seem to sound so much more positive.

though, there are times when i feel anti-choice anti-life, and i for the life of me can't figure out why we aren't having more abortions, executions, and murders.

Sava, we've been over this: you're also anti-choice, because you don't support the terrorists' right to choose to blow up buildings.
