  • Martin said "It's a common sense proposition that the party that has the most seats is the party that certainly ought to form a government."
Then he shall be hoist on his own petard.

The very last time this happened, the Liberals under Mackenzie King clung to power by seeking a coalition with the progressive party. Same with Turner. Turner got toasted by the Conservatives under Mulroney for this precise issue.

I fear we will see the same here. All the Liberal supporters in Quebec will be betrayed when the Liberals join with the BQ to 'make sure Harper doesn't get in.'

Martin will never step down even if his party have fewer seats than the conservatives. He will fight tooth and nail to cling to power. And he will usher in a Conservative majority by doing so.

Plus ca change, plus de la meme chose.

    • It lends to balance if simply to prevent the paper boxes being set on fire.
Over here, you find Dosanjh as the hardiest satanist in Vancouver South, if the defaced posters are any indication.

The NDP supporters didn't miss one.

      • It's pretty close to what I'm guessing.
I think mine will be the closest to reality, although, I would overestimate BQ support and underestimate Liberal support.

        • Well, I voted.

First time for me... I guess it showed when, instead of taking my ballot behind the screens (I was looking for some sort of booth or room), I started walking down the hallway towards the bathroom.
