If you dont understand that information must be published you fail to see the point.
Some government close Fox-like news channel probably gets ahold all the torture pictures and decides NOT to make them public, but hide them. Because they dont like them.
Ofc this is not the same, because this is a crime I know, but I hope you can see the direction.
If you dont have the chance to publish critical stuff and make it available to a large audience, then you'll be controlled and information-fed by those who have the power to do.
Its not because its beating the dead Bush horse, but because it raises discussion which is good for any democracy. Bush is just a symbol IMO.
And of course it would not be possible to force any company to release anything, but from a personal point of view I dislike it when they try to tell what I can get to see and what not. I called this censorship, because in some way it is.
In this case it was even worse because this movie would surely bring them a lot of money (which they are after desperately after all).

I look forward to seeing it.
Out of curiosity the overwhelming sentiment I've seen is that there's nothing new in there, so why go see a movie, especially a political one, if you already now everything its going to say before it says it?
/me refuses to continue argueing with Atahualpa because it's going to be a long and frustrating conversation with a brick wall.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

because I loved Roger and Me and Bowling for Savas...
plus, it's always fun to "rah rah" the anti-bush stuff.
It seems rather boring to go sit through a political movie where you already know all the points. Do you have a case of insomnia you wish to try your hand at curing?

.
Because Moore's an entertaining film maker of course.
He can tell us everything we already know and make it interesting again.
I was famillar with most of his basic points in "Bowling for Columbine" but it was still a damn fun movie to watch.
Well I suppose circle jerks can be entertaining but I have no personal experience with them. What's your opinion on them GL?

plus, audience reaction is something I'm curious about... Bowling for COlumbine was great in terms of audience reaction. Everyone who saw it seemed to enjoy it.... plus it was funny.

On a side note, Moore made an interview with that Berg guy in Iraq before he was kidnapped and beheaded.
It was not included in this movie, though, and he has agreed with the family not to show it anywhere else.
