  • Some of those questions could be cut and pasted on to a "Moron Compass" test. Take this one about homosexuality:

No one can feel naturally homosexual.

Agreeing to this one is like saying, "Hello, I'm a moron", because its a false statement. It's like saying, "The world is flat". It's just false. And believing in things that are blatantly wrong makes someone a moron.

And not coincidentally... agreeing to questions like those puts one, generally, on the right.
To us, it is the BEAST.

    • BTW, does that make me a leftist for agreeing with you?

And it depends upon your definition of 'natural'. Many people will see these desires as real, but not natural.

      • one of the questions...

Schools should not make classroom attendance compulsory.
i'm assuming agreeing with this stupid idea is the left-wing answer...

        or how about this one...

Those who are able to work, and refuse the opportunity, should not expect society's support.
disagreeing with this takes an idiot yet its also the left-wing answer.

And of course, you're representative of all of Apolyton...

I'd say it is because people on this site tend to be more educated than average. The right feeds on the ignorant masses through populism, but most people here (who are socialists, social dems, or libertarians) can eat through the rhetoric.

Hmmm, I'm sliding farther left as I get older. I used to be a lot more Centralist than I am now...At least I'm gaining in Authoritarian beliefs.

I disagreed with this one and got negatives on both. I'm guessing that it would be more libertarian to not be compulsory. However, I fail to see how not believing in compulsory schooling makes someone a moron.

I guess your just mad because you probably gave the moron answer for the question I mentioned. But your attempt to counter my statement was weak. It's really sad for you I guess... you feel so bad that your homophobia is moronic that you try to insult me.

ALthough, if you weren't referring to my post, then disregard this.

I'm a much better troll than you.

I was countering AS's assertion that all liberals at 'Poly were white suburbanites.

BTW, I am against compulosry schooling. I am so fed up with our education system that if I have kids I'll home-school them. Compulsory schooling also creates a risk of school being used to spread propaganda (like when civics textbooks say big, fat corporations are good).

                      • Another thing that may be biasing the test is retaking it. Usually, the first test is the most accurate one. When you retake it you may be biasing the test, either consciously or sub-consciously, in whatever direction you would like to see it go.

                          • I'll see if I'm bored enough to update the chart tomorrow morning (EET).
                            ...nope.

Keep the results coming, I'll have the necessary time to update in Tuesday afternoon.

And I mostly agree with the points made by AS.

                            • St Leo, well you know that this result would make me far right fanatic here.. even our far right would be your moderate left. So I guess that's ok. And I know what makes the result like that and I think some of the questions were bad. But things like that I do not support death penalty would make the scale go to the left a bit.
