I've got 3 choices:
Conservative, Liberal, NDP(Socialist).
I would never vote NDP, and I hate the Liberals but Paul Martin is better than the others, and I like the Conservatives but Stephen Harper is a religious righter.

Failing that, hold your nose and vote Lib or Conservative, whichever is more palatable to you.

There's lot of fringe parties in Canada. The best was probably the Natural Law Party, but they seem to have hung up the gloves. They had something about "yogic flyng" in their platform. New Zealand politicians don't get accused of being too Australian because while Australia is a bit right of NZ there is no stark difference.
Martin is smart to use anti-Americanism this time (although it's really anti-Bushism). All he has to do is point to Harper and say, "this man would have our soldiers in Iraq".
