    VOTE DUMBASS!
grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

What difference does it make if voting amounts to tossing a coin?

Meh. Then vote for some small, possibly loony, party. It's not much, but it's something.

        Vote, damn you!

          I've got 3 choices:

          Conservative, Liberal, NDP(Socialist).

I would never vote NDP, and I hate the Liberals but Paul Martin is better than the others, and I like the Conservatives but Stephen Harper is a religious righter.

There is literally no other choice? I mean, a really fringe party with zero chance?

Failing that, hold your nose and vote Lib or Conservative, whichever is more palatable to you.

There's lot of fringe parties in Canada. The best was probably the Natural Law Party, but they seem to have hung up the gloves. They had something about "yogic flyng" in their platform. The Marijuana Party is still going strong. Apparently, we have two communist parties (aside from the NDP).

I don't know if I have any candidates from any of those in my district though.

Vote for the legalize pot people or Canada's equivalent of the hunting and fishing party, Asher.

New Zealand politicians don't get accused of being too Australian because while Australia is a bit right of NZ there is no stark difference.

Martin is smart to use anti-Americanism this time (although it's really anti-Bushism). All he has to do is point to Harper and say, "this man would have our soldiers in Iraq". In almost any election other than Israel's association with Bush ranks about the same as being exposed as a paedophile.
                      Only feebs vote.

You've definitely gotta have a Green candidate in there somewhere, though.

Asher, Greens are running candidates in every district. If you vote for them, they get $1.75 to spend in the next campaign.

I'm pretty sure you live in Richmond Hill. You'll get to choose between Nella Cotrupi (NDP), Tim Rudkins (Green), Bryon Wilfert (Liberals), and Peter Merrifield (Conservatives).

My electoral district is Calgary-Nosehill. Elections.ca says we have no candidates.

And why would I vote for the Greens...
