      @Che

      So, to change the people you need to change their motivation and to do that you need to change the system?

      The current crappy system exists because of liberal propeganda and voter pampering.

        So why was it the same for ten thousand years prior to the Great Society programs?

            People truly enjoy being kicked in the gut while already knocked down -- that's why they "allow" themselves to become victims.

                  Verto -- it's callous to say that people enjoy poverty, being discriminated against, and so on.

                              According to the MBM, 13.1 per cent of all Canadians are considered to be poor. That's almost four million people. Newfoundland had the highest rate at 23.4 per cent. Ontario had the lowest at 11.0 per cent.

                              1 in 8 Canadians poor

                              2000 stats it got worse also keep in mind these stats are based on income, welfare or other wise and do not account for the homeless or non income people. Some figures put it as high as 20%...
                              Last figures out the gap between the rich and poor was 43 gains for the top 20% earners and 51% loss for the lower income earners. Over the last 10 years. Regan was one of the presidents from what I understand where the largest gains and losses took place. The same can be said for malroney in Canada.

                                A Hundred Thousand is no longer being Rich. Now maybe 200K would be somewhat easily living.

                                However a house in Napa will go from 400k to well over a million depending where you live in Napa Valley. My son who is looking for a house to buy said there are no home is Napa Valley for less than 375K at this time.
