  • Even with going to war, if Chamberlain was actually any good as a War Prime Minister, he'd have kept it. Also, Bush choose to go to war, Chamberlain didn't have much option, what with Germany invading people. Domestically, Chamberlain was good.

    • You missed my point - the fact that his policy allowed something catastrophic to occur, or at least worsened it, is not lessened in the least by the fact that the catastrophe occured (this should be obvious).

Jeez, Slowhand must be REALLY dragging down the average in Texas!

        • I wasn't referring to Chamberlain's policies in general; I'm ignorant of such historical details. You just have to admit that "Peace with honor...peace in our time" is one of the most comically stupid-in-hindsight remarks ever made. Hitler publically swore to take over Europe, but somehow dear old Neville was convinced he'd settle for a little lump of Czech Territory. Then a little piece of this, a little of that, whoops, sorry old chap, forgot to mention Germany needed to annex this too, but this really is the last one, honest. That's pretty bad judgment.

            • If you're so smart then, why would you move to a state like Georgia?

Because the idea of snow is mostly foreign to Georgia .

If New Jerseyians were so smart, they wouldn't live in ****ing New Jersey.

The facts show a different story... we STILL got a higher IQ than youuu . And, of course, we have a higher level of produce than you, even though your state is much bigger.

Ah, the jealous of New Yorkers.

First, because it seems to be a typically thing for CT'ers to have baseless despise for NJ. Second, because I happen to have pretty good info on just how ****ing nasty NJ is (environmental contamination).

Ah, now the CT jealously . Don't be mad that we have acres and acres of farmland and horse barns.

IQ and grammar aren't necessarily linked, but it's still funny!

                  • This page brings me to another issue. I can't believe you really did it over there and introduced and allowed Touch-Screen voting machines. How blind can one be??? This is awful. Byebye democracy. Your last banana-republic style of election will be nothing compared to what is coming. And I'm not talking about which group will abuse it (or already has), it may be any of them! At any rate, more suspicions will rise after every single election because fraud cannot be really be ruled out with such a digital system with no manual recount and where you as a voter don't have complete control that your vote is counted properly
Oh, I forgot: Cheating is considered to be something really bad in America and it just can't happen! Sorry for that.
Am I glad that in our voting places every vote is handed around and counted manually (no, this doesn't make it cheaper, but democracy should be worth it). Digital voting boxes are nothing but a disgrace.

                      • .... I prefer digital voting machines. We can work on their safety, but manual counting is SOOOO 1900s.

                          • As is liberal democracy .

I've used both punch button and digital machines. I prefer the digital ones.

We make big crosses on circles - much more exact results in counting votes than punch button counting-machines and less vulnerable to frauds as digital machines. Why exactly do you prefer digital machines - and I won't accept "easy handling" etc. as an answer.

                              • the IQ test for my state are innaccurate because my state has the highest high school drop out in the nation. We only have 2 universities. We are largely immigrant. I'm not saying immigrants have low IQ. Don't be calling me a racist now. I'm saying the type of immigrant we have is the type who doesn't mind working minimum wage cleaning semen from hotel sheets. We don't exactly attract the best and the brightest.
