I got it changed (from skywalker) a while back, because in all of the threads about democratic presidential nominations my sole contribution was "KUCINICH!"

Wow, that's great. Must have been a big thing for you, having your name changed to the only word that you could type. Adds a lot to the discussion.

Such a relief to know that you were "only" joking when you called me a bigot, DD.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

people dont only disagree, they are totally against what the president has done in his term. He has contradicted himself and his "party" platforms several times on several accounts, except in relation to the religious right...

                  Boris:

Maybe because we disagree with the connection?
Well, you need to show the term being used in the way you say. I've done my bit. So far the only argument presented gives the context for saying that the state should not intervene in the bedroom applies to abortion.

Abortion is a medical/women's issue, not a sexual one. I promise you most Dems see it that way as well.
Not the point. The point is in what context does the statement that the state should not intervene in the bedroom applies. Abortion definitely falls into this category as well as a woman's issue. The two are not distinct sets.

False dichotomy. Just because the Dems do not address civil rights for men specifically as a major issue does not mean they don't believe in them. They're platforms on civil rights is geared towards minorities who have traditionally suffered oppression.
So they don't care enough about men to make it an issue. Nice to see their honesty.

How does this in any way support the so far unfounded assertion that abortion is considered by the Dems to be "bedroom"?
I gave evidence, you just laughed it off, so you need to show that the statement does not apply to abortion.

But Che's statement assumes that if you agree with Bush, you lack integrity.

So are you now saying that the religious right lacks integrity?

Note there's no references to abortion in the sites pertaining to liberty. "Out of the bedroom" is used in reference to sexual behavior. Happy now?

The term is used in conjunction with sexual privacy issues, be it sodomy laws, prostitution, age of consent, etc. It is NOT used with abortion commonly.

You've only provided your assertion that falls into the category. Trudeau's statement is hardly the support you seem to think it is. Where is that proof again that he coined the phrase?

So they don't care enough about men to make it an issue. Nice to see their honesty.
Nice to see you're still into making disingenuous arguments. Jesus would be proud.

I laughed it off because it wasn't evidence of the kind. It wasn't even a Democrat. Wasn't even an American!

                          • im saying bush lacks integrity and voting for some that lacks that much intergrity on the issues you really care about should not be voted for. You just can not believe in the lies that the other guy is worse.

How could spending be more out of control, than under bush? is there empirical evidence that spending increases under democrats compare to republicans? no, there isnt. The oppisite is true. Democrats raise taxes to at least cover some of their asses on spending.
Voting for a "republican" that has done more spending than any previous democrat president, and holding that value of "financial responsibility" dear are opposed to one another.

If youre on the religious right, bush would be great for you. hes turning back the clock to a more religious friendly time where it is central to life and dictates our daily lives(for better or worse[worse in my opinion]).

Yes. At least as long as "logically coherent/internally consistent policy" is part of integrity.
