The only people who do more are those with prior knowledge of a subject or who are gluttons for punishment. I qualified on both counts
    I qualified on neither.

Missed that last time around. Yeah, its on a per car basis. You're welcome to climb aboard.

We just need a firm date to book the chunnel ticket on. And confirmation of somewhere to stay, be it with Spiff or other generous Frenchman.

        To all.

PLEASE SAY IF YOU ARE COMING, AND IF 14TH AUGUST (WEEKEND OF) IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO ATTEND.

PROVIDERS OF ACCOMODATION, PLEASE CONFIRM HOW MANY YOU CAN TAKE AND IF THE 14TH AUGUST (WEEKEND OF) IS SUITABLE.

            • I'll be available on the 14th. Not on the 21st though, as it looks like I'll be going to Finland then

                  • I will decide to come at the latest instance, but I really like the idea.

As I am employed, I'll take a hotel, or try to fix a place at a friend of mine, if she is in Paris at the time. I'll happily forfeit a place at Spiffor's if it will allow a poor student to attend . If in the end there will be place at Spiffor's, I would like to attend the crowd though.

If Spiffor would know any decent hotel, I would be very thankfull. I need nothing fancy, I'll use it to sleep, not to stay .

Last time in Paris I stayed at a Hotel near the Rue Oberkampf. While the neighbouthood was nice, the hotel was crap. Don't remember what I paid then, but how far would 30 euro get me? Or would that be riducilously cheap at the (presumably) high tourist season?

I don't have a General Studies A-Level because I didn't collect the coupons with my cornflakes.

Here is a hotel close to home, for less than 30 €. Nothing great, but it will provide you with a bed, and possibly breakfast

Should it be booked for that weekend already( most touristy weekend of the year ), you may try here or here, which aren't far either.
