I am attempting to cement my connection with hoi polloi of Apolyton by engaging them in their own lingua franca -- English. There is naught superior approach than by stimulating their cardiac and cerebral complexes with vocabulary that does not contemptuously assume them to be kindergarden intellects.

Agathon has kindly advanced a thesis of some significance and an atmosphere of supreme wisdom and mutual respect suggests itself.
I love it when you talk dirty Leo.

I vote yay to religious beliefs. Give it a break Aggie.

      Oh, fine.

      Nein, nein, religion.
      Ja, ja, freedom.

I think religion has outlived its usefulness, and that the modern world would be better off if religion disappeared entirely from its face.

However, the idea of going to war against the religious people is despicable. If people want to believe in fairies, let them do. The society should only give the environment for such beliefs not to have any appeal (i.e. a society where science is taught completely secularily at school, and where religions are taught completely secularily as well, just like Greek mythology - I personally really would like to see religions be more covered in history courses, to remove the Greek myhology's monopoly as "beliefs not to be taken seriously")

Without religion, you would not have things such as the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Salem Witch Hunt, Islamic extremists and Christian fundamentalists.

On the average, it seems way better to be without religion.

/me wonders if he should get into this arguement again since everyone seems to be spouting the same stupid crap he heard over on CGN from ColonyPod

I really enjoyed that thread though but I'd just be repeating the samethings which gets old fast. Decisions, decisions.

They are for people who do not wish to think, and wouldd rahter have the answeres spoon fed to them, rather than seek out the truth.
