I'm not going to bump that often. That would be spam.

in any case, I was expecting more than this:

Florida never has earthquakes that you can notice,
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Earthquakes are so much fun, much more fun that huricanes or torandoes, and much easier to spell. Also, it's kind of funny to watch the dog freak out right before it happens

Just a few nights ago we had a 4.5 or so originating north of Tahoe hit around 1:50am. At least this time I wasn't sitting on the toilet.

yeah I seen that one in the in brief section of my local paper.

Usually I can't feel them unless they are east of Los Angeles. Like that one in the fall of 1999.

                      edit: changed 2000 to 1999.

A state earthquake council has given a qualified endorsement to a prediction by a group of scientists who believe that a temblor of magnitude-6.4 or greater will occur in the Southern California desert sometime in the next five months.
Really? Noo! Shock, amazement, the horror...the horror...

well summer is flying by pretty fast. I'm just curious if this prediction will hold true.

I don't want to wish for earthquakes. But it would be nice if we could predict them a little better.

Although time frames like this aren't very useful anyways. At least we're better at predicting Volcanos. It will be some time before we can do earthquakes.

Why not just move the city a bit to the right?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
