They've been predicting this for years so I suppose one of these days they'll finally be right.
BTW I went out to the area where the Hecter Mine Quake happened the day after it occured. There was a nice large fault scarpe on the desert floor but not much else. I was visiting Pisgah crater which is a 20 million year old cinder cone volcano in the Majove and the cinder cone itself suffered a fair amount of damage from the quake including a large crack going up its east side.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Last week on the TV news, they said some Swedish scientists had figured out how to predict earthquakes. They found out that the chemical composition of the ground water changes the last week prior to the earthquake, so it could be possible to keep track of that and warn the population a few days in advance.So get your Naomi Klein books and move it or I'll seriously bash your faces in! - Supercitizen to stupid students
