Especially since Finnish is from a different language tree than French.

        Finnish is evil.

EDIT: BTW Imran, I have replied to your nonsense about fascism. Go back to the thread if you have some balls.

The worse you know a language, the better for this, I'm guessing.

In that spirit, put me down for French, German, Latin, and Greek. I know none of them.

I know: English (do'h ), German and Danish...
Though I can only translate from German, not to German...
This space is empty... or is it?

Whta if someone who tends to like to screw things u for people due to very certain psycholigical disorders that were manifested at a very young age due to a host of fa-too-hard-to-explain-reasons was to just translate it back into englis himmediatley after the first trans? Would that ruin the game, or is this just a big continuous thing?

what about elvish? that is technically a language, or Klingon! OOOOOh klingon would be fun, but a tad bit too geeky even for me.

As a fiendish full French I can translate the sentences from english to French though I would have some trouble to start from a language other than English.

I suppose that makes my offer pretty useless.

Well, I'm fluent in Swedish, Hungarian and English. I could make a passable attempt at translating from Norwegian or Danish (we're supposed to understand them for some ****ing reason, we get academic texts in both regularly).

Well, I reckon I could translate English/Danish and vice versa. But if Winston gets involved, don't blame me for the mysterious appearance of a tirade on indecent leftists that may occur around our part of the chain.

I guess I could translate from the other Scandinavian languages as well, but preferably not Swedish. Hey Buck, you get academic texts in Danish? Sorry for the threadjack, but with the exception of Danish literature, I can't really imagine what texts would be accessible in Danish but not Swedish.
