That helps a lot, but you can make it up in other ways. I am not 6'+ nor an incredibly fit athlete (though a reasonably fit sporty person ), and I have many women showed serious interest in me over the years.

Sweet. So, basically be engaging, somebody fun to be with. Learn how to chat and don't be scared of going up and talking to them. That pretty much sums it up right?

Riight, I would like some advice from some of you people out there.
Quite frankly I'm sick of not being able to get dates or anything resembling that at all. I want some advice on how to pick up females. Like is confidence everything? What other things are there? I'm going back to uni in about a month and I don't really want to go for another whole year without having any fun.
So yes. Advice on the whole dating/picking up females thing? I know there are some 'players' out there that could give some good advice.
Just ask a lot. Frequency of sales calls is more important than sales style. Ask anyone who's done sales. Also ask them out right away. Don't spend forever thinking about it.
Show some balls. Nothing to be ashamed in getting shot down. But when you don't ask and you wanted to...
Try the pickups, doesn't need to be slimy or anything. Just if you are at the bookstore and you start talking to some girl about classes or whatever and she is cute:
1. ask her name.
2. Ask her if she'd like to grab coffee some time.
3. If she says yes, get phone #, arrange date.
4. If no, move on.
I don't really have much luck being a player. I tend to move into a relationship quick. But several relationships have come out of pickups.

Yes, but I can't vouch for bar/pub situation, since I have never gone there to meet woman.
I met mine at work, in gym, while volunteering, and in computer labs ( )

Get involved in some organization at your school that interests you - females sharing that interest will also be in the organization. Thus you already have something in common.
I worked at the campus radio station in college. Net result was about four girlfriends, two of them serious and one who ended up being my wife.

I'm not a playa, I just crush a lot. You should ask GP or Ted Striker for advice; you better hurry up, though, as they're turning into metrosexuals and will soon lose all the knowledge of the game that they've built up through years of stone cold pimpin'...
RIP, homies.
TCO??
a metrosexual??

Your first problem is asking on Apolyton for advice on "players", when the only thing people here are good at is playing Civ and with themselves.
