              Why is that silly? He knows that he's got the 6th seed no matter what. Why not rest your players?

                    You obviously haven't been watching the game.

                    Comparing Favre and company with what the Broncos have out there... resting the starters and expecting to win are clearly mutually exclusive.

                      When did he say he was expecting to win? He said he WANTS to win. You still WANT to win, even if you best players aren't there. You don't just lay down. Denver has been playing tough, but they just don't have their stars in.

                        They've been playing better the past quarter or so at least.

                        The backup QB that the Broncos put in at the start was terrible. Lots of dropped passes as well. The defense has played well but the offense has clearly been rather deflated.

                          Shanny has to be upset at that turn of events.

                          And Jackson was put in so Shanny could see how good his 3rd string QB was. Griffen has been running great though and really fighting for yards.
