I know, this is random, but i was thinking (surprising as it may be) that Christianity and Communism are inherently at odds.
I think it is probably safe to say that the foundation of christian virtues is in the 10 commandments.
one of the commandments is "Thou shalt not steal"
Of course, without property, there can be no theft, and in communism, there is no property.
So, hypothetically speaking of course, let's assume there is a God, and God is as described in the Christian tradition. If there is God, and he is enduring, he would want his doctrine to be enduring, and transcendant of time and social change. If this is true, and God is all knowing, the it follows that Communism is practically impossible, now and in the future, otherwise the commandment would not be worded as it is.
