My black coat. It cost a small fortune, by my standards at least, even with about 70% off, it's long (down to just below the knees) warm, 'cause it's made of cashmere and wool, and Italian. However it looks better on my SO

Wool winter Jacket. Made for my dad by my Grandma, and my dad gave the coat to me, since I liked the jacket so much. We had to mend some holes, but otherwise, it's a very distinctive jacket. No one has anything like it.

My navy blue GAP hoodie. It's got a few holes in it but it's so warm and cosy. It's survived all of highschool, sixth form, and is now heading toward uni with me. It's my number one "I feel sick/hungover/cold/depressed" item of clothing. I love it.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
