    damn, people.

You know, when you hear about the homeless people fighting for money, you feel how bad modern western society is. When you hear your stories, I feel glad.

    Seriously.

we're all bananas and twinkies in this godforsaken land.

THANK GOD FOR MARGARET CHO!! She says what we all think (but can't say ourselves because our parents would kill us).

Tell her your fantasy is to do it with a mother and daughter.

korean families tend to be dominated by the eldest mother, even if the culture itself is patriarchal. grandmother doesn't like it because--guess why--she's not korean.
              This sounds strangely familiar.

AS: if she's that crazy just date the girl behind her back, it can't be that hard to avoid the mom.

I think you're too harsh Che.
Speer sure is self righteous, but I don't expect him to turn violent on his girlfriend. I personally think he'll love his pricinples more than individuals, sure, but I don't imagine him using violence or blatant authoritarianism over his gf.

dude, che... that was a bit harsh. sure, that remark was a bit prideful, but seriously? he's not one of the worse 'men' out there. at least he has 'principles', however excessively strict they might be.

That could be your problem, not your mom's.

well, let's see... most of our dates didn't require much money, because we both liked walking through public museums; we frequented a public forest and walked aroudn in it. and we didn't mind spending time and just watching the telly.

it got to the point where she would try to stop us from hanging out in the same neutral setting when she could.if a mutual friend had a gathering that she was to go to, she'd prohibit me from going.

now that i'm only a guest under her roof now, having moved out and gone to college, she's given me a lot more freedom.
