You've done good. Just think of when you get to see your child for the first time.
As for marriage, throw my name among the supporters. I don't know if this situation is ideal, but you make do with what you get. I think that marriage generally helps both people, you have more security than if you are just living together.

We do plan to get married eventually, but as Mike said my main priority is saving money for the baby. The main reason I didn't want to keep it at first is I was scared whether I'd be a good enough father as I don't have a lot of money, nor does she.
I think I'll probably leave uni nearer April and see how I go in my exams and see how life is with the baby. We are looking for a house at the moment to rent so that we can try and do things properly and give the baby stability. Hopefully marriage will come later when I've settled down in a job and I can give her a dream marraige the she probably wants.

I don't know about the UK but in the US a marriage licence costs around $25 to or if you go to Vegas you can get a shot gun wedding for around $100.
