    I guess so.

Some woman claims Arnie touched her leg in 1979 and I'm supposed to get all worked up? Naw, I'm more concerned with the hear and now. I just don't see how this will effect him as Governor.

Even if you took the worst allegations about Clinton at face value, he wouldn't hold a candle to Andy Jackson.

          No.

How much time and money was spent investigating Clinton?

MtG: The point is Bustamonte wanted to ignore it when Clinton did it but now calls for a full criminal investigation becasue Arnie tried to get randy with some chick back in 1979. Thanks but I'd be happier if we just ignored the personal lives of politicians. Ireally don't what to know every time one of them gets a blow job from some chick he's not married to.

Michael the Great, one cannot file a criminal complaint against a sitting president. I suppose that this is why Kathleen Willey did not complain about the criminal assault by President Clinton against her in 1993 when the alleged event occurred.

I suspect the reason that Governor Davis is not making a big deal of this is because he has been seen together in public with Bill Clinton and does not want to encourage certain questions on whether there is a double standard.

No, Davis has been trying to appear "Governor like" since this whole recall thing began. He's still trying to keep up the act. If Davis hadn't been so ungovernor like for the first 5 years we wouldn't be recall his ass now.

Schwarzenegger's wife, TV newswoman Maria Shriver, has defended him throughout the campaign against charges that he treats women badly and did so again Thursday night.
"I think it takes great courage to stand up and say: 'I apologize if I've offended anybody, I've tried to work respectfully with women and if I've done anything I apologize,'" Shriver said.
"There have been so many women that have signed onto this campaign. I have been spending the last several weeks engaging remarkable women -- Democrats, Republicans, Independents, who are proactive, pro-women, pro-Arnold."

Contrast the above with statements by Hillary Clinton concerning Bill Clinton. Has Hillary Clinton ever defended Bill's conduct? Has she ever come out in defended his truthfulness? Has she ever applauded his apology to those he has "offended?"

Sava, no it does not. However, the point is the outrageous double-standard of the those who supported Clinton who also molested women but now spring this smear on the eve of the election.

as far as I know, Clinton wasn't convicted of any of the charges filed against him... try again...

I should say though, I do think Clinton was a little grab-assy... he just did it to women who said yes...

And don't give me this double standard crap either. I was and still am very critical of Clinton's mistakes when it comes to women.

Fine, Sava, you then have a legitimate right to complain as do any who complained of Clinton's behavior at the time.

But guys like Gore, Davis, the LA Times and the ex president himself have no right to complain that Schwarzenegger's misconduct with women disqualifies him from being governor.

Actually in Italy if Pres. Berlusconi or Ciampi had any affair with some woman, everybody would claim it is a miracle

Off course he would re-win the elections

Of course, they would be bragging about it not lieing about it.
If Clinton had done that, he wouldn't have taken anywhere near as much crap. I don't remember any sincere apologies from Billie.
