Keeping sideburns short is one of the few things I agree with Speer on. I just avoid the whole visor thing altogether...

spending too much time on fashion leaves one's mind vapid.

you're there to learn, not look hip.

in any case, i wear loose tshirts and relaxed fit jeans. i bathe every day and comb my hair.

that's all i need to look presentable, and that's all i will ever do unless a situation requires more grooming--say, a formal event.

hey, it's all about the life of the mind.

you know why we have no school of engineering, or a perfomance music degree? it's too practical. our computer science is geared more to research programming than real-world programming.

but really? looking good should not be a primary concern at all for anybody who fancies him/heself as a serious student.

at least, when they're not on dates or at some formal occasion.

Flat, limp and knotted? That ain't symbolic of my phallus.

Sometimes a razor-sharp silk tie is the only answer.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Amen. I am quite attached to my sidies...but it all depends on the impression I am trying to give. I don't do 'smart casual'...it is so 'careerist young graduate' at my age

i got another tip... make sure your clothes match! If i'm wearing dark indigo dye blue/black jeans, I would wear a white shirt and white shoes or with blue jeans or khakis, a black shirt and black shoes... NEVER wear black shoes and white shirt or some bull**** like that... you can get away with having your shoes the same color as your pants but they got to be either the same color as your pants or your shirt, not an entirely different color... how boys can go around with blue jeans, a yellow shirt, and grey sneaks i got no idea... also, if you wear a hat, make sure your hat matches too... its tricky though cause is it like should your hat be the colour of your shirt or the colour of your pants?

                                Imran:

no gentle curve... flat is the style now and has been for a few years... i remember when we used to give our hats that gentle curve but that went out...

i looked among my scanned pictures for someone wearing a hat and found my boy d rocking a flat philies cap. it's below. and notice how his shirt matches his hat. thats what i'm talking about people!
