    Why is pork so cheap?

    Why is pork bologna and pork hotdogs so much cheaper than their beef equivalents? a standard pack of either beef bologna or beef hotdogs usually costs over a dollar more than pork.

    sure makes me glad i'm a 'bad muslim'

    how do yall jewish people here deal with the expensive ass beef?

      there's a surprisingly big difference in the price... you can get pork bologna for 99 cents while the same amount of beef bologna costs 1.99...

                  3 dollars for coffee?!!

                  mcdonalds sells coffee for 69 cents! a large cup i think is less than a dollar

                      Yeah, but buying coffee from McDonald's is sorta like buying clothes at Walmart. Some people do it, but not me.

                        pork I is cheaper to raise I suppose

                        cows eat a lot of food. and only a few different types of food.

                        We have a pig farm in North Las Vegas that the pigs eat scraps from buffets from the casinos. pigs can eat anything. They are small and take up less space. And can be crammed together closer than cows.

                          I don't understand why we need to give animals much space at all. Why give cows a field..what a waste. Build a factory and hole them up in it. Cheaper food

                            But the thing is, the quality of the food is often dependent upon the animal - that is, you want a well fed cow, not one that lays around all day. At least that's my understanding. Could be wrong, though.
