Thankfully, what's not eating me is chiggers.
Ah, I remember the days of football, Red Rover, etc.
Roll around in the grass, and get eaten up by chiggers.
Nothing can match the anguish of rampaging chigger bites.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

no i didnt fail my final exam. we had third exam and final exam on the same day and I failed the third exam (prolly). I have an average of 86 on last 2 exam w/o curve so I should be good if I did well on the finals.

What role are you playing (there aren't too many men involved are there )? I read it (in English)... quite a few years ago, though.

        5. The 'one certain girl who doesn't know' (you know what I mean) will move away to the Baltic sea after end of the school year (which is end of July), and I will never see her again. This is actually eating me most, and the only question I keep asking myself when I'm lying there listening to my favourite music is "why".

Give her a call, NOW! ... And if you actually manage to do that (and with a positive outcome too), tell me how you did it... please!

        6. I'm worried to fail my final exams next year, and I'm really worried about it, because I couldn't bear another year in school.

It was completely and utterly sick of school the last 2 to 3 years, but I managed just fine. But then, it all just depends on what kind of a student you are.
How well are you doing, generally speaking, in school?

        7. I'm worried that there might be a slight chance that I can fail this year in school, and have to do this class again.

Not too good then? Just remember that failing will mean an extra year in school (seriously)! You may hate school, but giving up will only make it worse. So work hard, but make sure you have plenty to do to get your mind off things too. Go somewhere during the holidays.

        13. I wanna leave this country. Immediately.

You say next year will be your last... You could try planning a year off after highschool. Say, a year backpacking in Australia, a year highschool in the US, volunteer work in Latin America or Africa, that sort of thing. There are plenty of possibilities.
That'll also help motivate you through school, since you will have something to look forward to.

Hmm, things that worry me and or are weighting on my mind include:

          1) I still owe $6k in debt from college loans, credit cards, and to Dell Computer which I would really like to pay off and get rid of. I've drawn up a financial plan and found I can pay it all off in about 15 months if I'm diligent but still it is a tough slog to get out of debt.

          2) I'm unhappy with the current state of my relationship with my girlfriend. We keep fighting over stupid and mundain things and nothing I do to try to make her happy or to calm things down seems to work. I'm a happy go lucky type of guy and most of the women I've dated have been the same but my current girlfriend is perpetually wound up like a clock and she seems always ready to go off.

          3) I really, really, really want to buy my first house but I only have $9k saved up and the prices for new homes is increasing faster then the rate I can save (i.e. home prices are going up 25% per year but my savings is growing at a rate slower then that. ) so each month it becomes hard to make the jump.

          4) I'm having difficulty balancing my dasires to get ahead at work with my desire to go back to school and get my master's degree. Getting ahead at work means working 50+ hours a week (minium) but going back to school and being able to do well would mean working just 40 hours with no over time.

          5) I joined a gym but I haven't been going regularly because I'm out of town so often with work. I'm starting to get fat and I don't like that so I'm planning on taking up running again and trying even harder to make it to the gym when I'm in town.

          6) I really want to write a book about Psychological warfare but for the above reasons I haven't even started. I suppose it's all time management and I could do it all if I was more displined but so far I haven't been making the grade.

            Oh... and what's eating me?

I started my graduation project in April 2002 and I'm not getting anywhere. In fact, I haven't done anything at all the last few months. And I don't have a job or social life either.

I should be getting a part-time job and go swimming. I should then hopefully find the spirit back, get in shape, be more confident etc. and I would actually have some money to spend.
But I've been saying that for months too and I haven't gotten anywhere. And I don't have any excuse whatsoever.

              Oerdin:

              1. Debt takes time, don't worry about it.

              2. Dump her. Yet, all girls argue. You just need to find one that you can intimidate

              3. Thought your folks would help. Try getting an investment property first, those loans are easier to get, don't require as much down, have lower rates, and will get you that 25%/year to put towards your own home.

              4. I am going to work until I am at a point that I don't have to work 50 hours to get ahead

              5. Gyms suk

Those are some nice grades you've got.

If you've got those in math, I salute you. So what course was it?

What exactly are you doing then? Buying her presents? Do what she asks just to please her and avoid a quarrel? Doing that looks more like your living past eachother, tolerating eachother, rather than being in a relationship together.
Sit down and talk about what it is that is bothering you both about eachother, your relationship, your lives and how you (want to) see your future.[/Dr. Phil]

Then again, I know nothing about you, your girlfriend, or relationships, so feel free to ignore me.

                      Life is pretty good but

                      1. work is slow for me ( LAST month I made next to nothing) and I am a contractor so if I don't work I don't get paid-- Showing up nets ZERO if you don't have a project to work on--

                      2. My wife is on maternity leave and her income is less than half of normal. Combined with #1 this is worrisome but we do have a cushion builtin

                      3. Last night I had a nightmare that I discovered my son drowing in the bathtub and awoke during the CPR attempts ( the fact that we don't bathe him in the tub is irrelevant to my subconscious)
You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

I don't think there anything wrong with that, except for showing a healthy dose of concern for the well-being of your offspring.

stefan, by what i've read you really have no problems, they're all in your head... you don't have real problems until:

                          1. Your psychiatrist is on speed dial

                          2. Your alternate personality is on speed dial

                          3. The IRS is on speed dial

                          4. You can't make bail

                          5. You're Saddam

                          6. You've had more surgeries than you can count on your fingers

                          7. Your girlfriend isn't a girl
