Well, I guess the two of you have to decide which is more important to you; a big wedding or being impatient.
I suppose you could always see about getting other jobs but I'd suggest you wait until you finish college. Seeing as they have no benefits I'm assuming that you don't have to give notice very long before quitting so if t really bothers you then you could always try and look for other work.
Have you told your contact at the Media Festival? From the sounds of it there really is no way out of it ( if you can afford to go, you can't afford to go ) and you really aught to tell the people organising it that you won't be able to make it if you haven't already.
Don't colleges offer some kind of health cover? I really don't know enough about the American health care service... it's all a bit too bonkers for me.
It sounds like your fiancee has some issues she needs to work out with her parents. Why did they cancel the financial support? Has she tried to reason with them?
The department demands you have something which you are forced to foot the bill for? Sounds like a **** system to me.

Spots ( is it spots or blotches? ) don't tend to mean something is eating you. Its almost certainly some kind of rash. If it was short term chances are it would be an allergic reaction ( which may have been what your Doctor assumed ) but if its persisted you might want to get it looked at ( have any friends doing pre-med? ) Try to find out if you're scratching it - you might be doing it without noticing. If you ARE then you might want to try out E45 which works with most skin irritations.
Eat more fresh fruit. Drink plenty of fluids. Get more exercise. Cannae hurt, can it?

Yeah but you knew that was going to be what the course would involve when you got into doing computer science ( or whatever it is they're calling it where you are ). It's all pseudocode and flow charts and performance criteria with very little actual coding. I'm sure it'll get better once you actually graduate and start applying what you've been learning in the real world.
Can't you just... change the oil then?

And Q: Been there, it's no fun...I'm sorry man.
