Tad unreleated, but something I honestly don't understand: On display at a military museum here in Calgary, Canada - is a T-55 tank. It's front and center in importance, with a Canadian flag standing on the left side, and a NATO flag on the right. Nevermind the Churchill, Sherman, or Stuart varieties which actually had something to do with our past hidden away out back
I knew the Canadian military was strapped for cash... but purchasing 50 year old soviet armor worth less than its weight in scrap metal is a little sad

Indeed, one article doesn't a point make. And Emperor Putin seems to like the defence industry so, no, I don't think they'll "end".
Eli.
Indeed.
The S-37 Berkut is excellent, the S-400 has no peers, and many Russian missiles are still top of their classes.

Is it Stealth?
I don't know. But seeing as the Russki's got that downed F117 from Kosovo, you can bet your left nut they have them in prototype by now.

Excellent isn't enough for top grade, and would not the Tomahawk embarass an S-400? Just checkin!
S-37 is on par with US's F-22 if not better. Tomahawks are very slow moving missiles so that wouldn't be a problem for a S-400.

Perhaps a Franco-Russian arms consortium to counter balance the US-UK? Hmmm...

This particular type of plane doesn't need much stealth, really. The S-37 probably doesn't have any.
Does the F-22 need a huge amount of stealth?
It may have some of the materials/shapes necessary to reduce its size/signal on the radar, that sort of thing, but definitely doesn't have what the F-117 or B-2 have, IIRC.

and what say you of the Mig 35? Or is that just a collection of random draftings
Well, stealth isn't just materials - shape is very important, but MOST relevant is avionics - for one thing you can't put a radar in a stealth plane, that defeats the object.
So yes, F117 equivalents would be my guess - as the Chinese have experimental versions I would be amazed if the Russki's didn't.
I have no comment to make on performance of aircraft as it well outside my area.

Are you the propoganda minister for the Russian Aerospace industry? The S-37 may have some advantages in a dogfight, and it might have some advantages in a ground attack role (the F-22 is designed as a pure air superiority fighter), but it is otherwise completely outclassed by the F-22. The S-37 has no stealth charactoristics whatsoever, while the F-22 has the most advanced stealth system in the world.
The F-22 has the supercruise ability, making it the only aircraft in the world able to go at mach speeds without using afterburners. This allows the F-22 to use up far less fuel, allowing it stay at mach speeds for a much greater duration, a very handy ability for intercepting and closing with enemy aircraft. The F-22's electronics and radar system also leave the SU-37 in the dust.

Stealth gives some huge advantages and is certainly relevant. If a fighter can't lock onto a stealth plane with its radar guided medium rangle missiles and the enemy can, the pilot of the non-stealth plane is in deep trouble. If an AWACS is in the area, the F-22 doesn't even need to utilize its own radar, it also has a passive radar system it can use without losing stealth charactoristics when necessary. Stealth also allows the F-22 to sneak past enemy fighter escorts and attack an enemy bombing group by surprise. Stealth also allows the F-22 to escort stealth bombers to their targets without betraying the bomber's positions to enemy radar.
