      Speaking of Utah I was born there... but moved to NC for the last 12 years....

      How is your adopted family? I have not heard much about them.
      They are quite normal run of the mill type people... how I turned out is anybody's guess...

              So points for adoption.
              You can always ask your mom in a closed adoption, the identity of your father. This is a valid reason to seek out the medical records of your father, and if you promise not to contact him, then you would not violate the terms of the closed adoption.
