Yep. Hugs are great! I dunno if it's karma or that golden horseshoe effect, but just about all the ladies in our building give me a hug if they walk by the desk or we pass in the hall. Not that I mind o'course, but I do think that it mystifies some of my male coworkers (well, truthfully, it mystifies me as well, but I'm not about to start complaining!
).
Guys...eh...aside from the occassional handshake, not much contact at all.

It has to be done very tactfully and from someone who I know very well (if male, females are quite welcome to cuddle me at will
). However when done by someone who is not familiar, especially one of these 'go-getters' I am more likely to construe it as an act of condescension which would annoy me greatly...
