The hell is Eminem doing at #4? And that God-awful Nelly song has no place anywhere on this list, much less at 65.

      This list is truly atrocious.

They should do it off record sales or play lists. Play lists/times played would be better indication.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

But AH, the more a song is played on radio, the worse it gets! ANY song gets boring after a trillion plays on radio!

Hmm ... some of those songs bring back memories of days gone by. Not only my days gone by, but the eras in which the songs themselves were recorded.

              Generation X indeed.

                    and that song sucks

why not evenflow by pearl jam, not as #1, but at least to replace smells like teen bullsh1t
Smells Like Teen Spirit was huge. It was a massive mainstream hit for a style of music that had previously only been a tiny underground movement. That one single changed music in the UK, it's influence is still being felt here. Even if you don't like the band you can't deny its influence. Everything I've read said that Nirvana had the same effect in the US as well, if not more so.

Kids now listen to Nirvana with the same excitement I did when I was 15 and heard them for the first time.

Pearl Jam were big in the US but they hardly ever toured here and so never got that big in the UK. They have never done anything for me personally either.

Eminem is also excellent. I love that song that got to #4. Those songs wouldn't be my top 100 songs but attacking 2 of the most enormous cultural phenomenons of the last 25 years in Nirvana and Eminem seems a little futile.

I AM PERSONALLY THOUGHTING ABOUT THE SMASHEST HIT "ARE YOU JIMMY RAY?" BY JIMMY RAY

DOES THIS SONG NOT BRING UP A QUESTION UNIVERSAL TO ALL OF OUR LIVES?

With or without you is the most beautiful track of all time and if you disagree I will curl up in a ball and remember times past whilst the song blasts, tears of regret rolling down my oxy-pad begging face and on to my junior high tube top prompted erection
