Richard, please... first of all none of us can read that tiny print, and secondly, how did you get your hands on that?

You only need to be able to read the big letters

That? Oh, just from a site on Asperger's...funny how Stew seems to fit the symptoms quite well...

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Laz - I couldn't find that in my psychology dictionary. What scientific term exists for that one?

You know, every marriage is in effect backed up by a "civil union", the license granted to the couiple by the state. Going to a priest or minister and having him or her perform a ceremony gets you absolutely nothing with regards to the law, it's the form you fill out that gives the couple their legal priviledges. It is important to bear iin mind that those legal priviledges come with responsibilities, they represent a commitment that the unlicensed couple simply doesn't have.

Do you really have that sort of serious cashola? Furthermore, don't you think it's really up to Ms. Church? I wasn't aware that she hired herself out as a wedding singer.

Blatant discrimination against the majority yet again. How long will our once-great nation put up with this.

It's not discrimination in my view; if a heterosexual couple wishes to get these rights, they are free to marry.

Today the Polish population almost fucked up EU entry. Of course they have a strong parliament to force them in in case they mess it up, but still. Pretty clever people, our neighbours.

No it's not. I had a "Scroogian" experience this year and have vowed to keep its spirit in my heart all year round.

                              Care to translate "Merkwurdigliebe"?

                                Never seen your movie?

General Turgidson: "Strangelove, Strangelove.... doesn't sound like a kraut name, does it?"

Stains (was it him?): "He changed his name when he became a citizen. Used to be Merkwürdigliebe"

It is, in fact, the literal translation of Strangelove from barbarian into human.
